Since last week I counted about 40 new starts from AWS – back to our normal rhythm of edition. Teams of the Services listen to your feedback and develop small (or large) changes that will make your life easier to work with our services. The ability to support multiple AWS sessions is my favorite in 2025.
But our teams did not stop there, let’s look at the new announcements last week.
Start of Last Week
In addition to the usual regional expansion (new capacity, which is now available in the new region), there are launched on the market.
Amazon EventBridge announces direct delivery to the cross -country targets – Amazon EventBridge is now able to deliver events to targets in another AWS account directly without first sending their default bus to the target account. This will simplify so many architectures! It supports any goal that supports resource -based police support, AWS Lambda, Amazon Single Tail Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Kinesis and Amazon API Gateway.
Amazon Corretto Quaterly Updates -We have been quarterly security and critical updates for long -term supported (LTS) and versions (FR) versions of OpenJDK. If you enable the high -performance mode, the SNS FIFO topics will be the order of the holder in the message group while reducing the range of deduplication to Message Group Level. With this change, you can deal with up to 30,000 messages per second (MPS) to the account by default in the US East (N. Virginia) and 9K MPS on the midwifery quota increases for further throughput in any area.
Amazon Connect Agent now Optimization for Citrix and Amazon Workspaces Virtual Desktops – Amazon Connect Agent Workspace now supports the ability to redirect sound from Citrix and Amazon Workspaces Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Sun with local customer service agents. Sound redirection improves voice quality and reduces the latency of voice calls processed on virtual desktop computers and provides a better experience for end and agents.
Amazon RedShift announces to support the History mode for integration of zero ethu- This new capacity allows you to create type 2 tables slowly changing dimensions (SCD 2) on your historical data from databases, outside the Amazon Redshift box without writing any code. History mode simplifies the process of monitoring and analyzing historical data changes, allowing you to gain valuable knowledge from the development of your data over time.
Finlly, Amazon Bedrock has its own set of announcements. First, for anyone who invests in search, now supports multimodal content Cohere inserts 3 multilingual and insert 3 English Models. This allows you to create not only for index text but also images.
