Learn to eliminate problems as a professional at Cisco u.

ROAD. Switch. TSHOOT.

You may remember that in 2010 it included very popular certification of routing and switching CCNP three three exams. Fast forward and I still remember TShoot kindly. The exam was a whole new experience: After answering a few questions with selection, you were presented to you a number of problem tickets and had to find out what was violated in a complex network where the problem was found, which technology needs to be repaired and which commands to set up to resolve the result . This was the correct problem removal and the test reports tested your knowledge of routing and switching Cisco technologies. Cisco even publicly shared the topology of the network used in the TSHOOT test to help you prepare.

I remember the Tshoot exam several times to end my CCNP R&S. I taught the route, switching and TShoot races for learning partners, but also at the local network academy. My students Netacad enjoyed the challenge to solve these complex problems of the Assyy network consolidated their routing and switching skills.

In 2020, Cisco Learning & Certification selects the old certification and CCNP routing and releases the CCNP, replaces the route, switch and TShoot with a new test and enarsi. Interestingly, the current topics of the Enarsi exams include several tasks of “problem removal”, making it a solid TSHOOT exchange, but Enarsi also serves as a replacement for the sale of roads that includes advanced routing.

Although I like Encor and Enarsi, I (and many others) miss Tshoot exam and course.

When I joined Cisco in 2021, I suggested a live sitting Cisco based on my experience in teaching TShoot. I designed a comprehensive IPv4 and IPv6 network and created 27 TIPs Tippes to fix it during a four -hour laboratory led by an instructor. The laboratory was so popular that in the last three years I have introduced it nine times at Cisco Live Actions, with a tense and eleventh coming in Cisco Live Amsterdam in February 2025.

You may be interested, “Patrick, why do you tell me all this?”

Well, the new exciting message to be shared. We decided to bring back the race Tshoot !!!!!! We updated the content, renamed it and made it accessible to Cisco U.

The new learning path is called Cisco Enterprise Networking Solutions (ENT) problems and includes two tracks. The first composition includes the methodologies and procedures for removing problems as well as proven network maintenance procedures. The second composition is divided into five case studies that require you to solve the records of recorded colleagues in fictitious societies.

Case studies look like this:

On Monday you will arrive at your workplace at Networking Ltd. Four employees will tell you that everything worked well on Friday, but now faces. Because all older engineers are outside, you can see that you are the only one in place that can fix the following:

  • Kimberly, a user on PC1, cannot access data on the server at 172.16.200.10.
  • Andrew, a user on PC2, cannot access the Internet. Andrew is trying to access the public server at 209.165.200.2.
  • Carol, the user on the PC3, cannot use SSH to connect to the server at 172.16.200.10.
  • Jack, a PC4 user, says he wants Internet access via IPv6. Jack adds it because Andrew has access, so he should.

Each case study revolves around a different network infrastructure and tests your knowledge of VLAN, suitcases, STP, Etherchanel, FHRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, ACLS, SSH, IP SLA, Redstribution routes, DHCP, NTP and AAA.

ENTSH laboratories are completely virtualized and spin within three minutes, allowing you to start quickly with your learning. Each laboratory included Debrief, which analyzes and explains problem. These Debriefs will help you understand how best to solve the problems that users report to users.

If you are interested in seeing demo entsh, check out Snack Minute, we will release on February 18, 2025, in which I will show Kareem Iskander and Matt Denapoli what the new classroom looks like.

If you are planning, we are waiting for Cisco to live in Amterdam or San Diego, you can register for my CCNP Enterprise Hands-on Onsurating Lab (Ltrcrt-2002) and see tickets to the prank failure that you can repair in the oven!
